It APPEARS that once the new 4 lane Highway 14 project near 17 Mile House is complete residents along Manzer Road will no longer be permitted to make a left turn across 2 lanes towards Sooke from Manzer Road onto Highway 14.
This necessitates the construction of a "cut-off" so residents could access the Gilespie Road interchange for their trip to Sooke.
Here's the new gravel road prior to paving that was photographed in January 2023.
