Sookie Sam and the whole shabang up for grabs as Sunny Shores hits the market?
A 50-year-old Sooke destination is up for grabs with the listing for sale of Sunny Shores Resort and its marina in the 5600 block of Highway 14.
The 6.5 acre complex has served as a popular recreational and boating destination for generations, and it can be yours for $15 million.
The listing describes the sale as inclusive of the boat slips, the campground, multiple accessory buildings, plus a buildable density of around 80 homes that can be constructed under current zoning.
Once the area is connected to sewers, that number can rise, according to the listing.
If you had the cash, would you buy Sunny Shores?
Sookie Sam, by the way, is the wooden figure standing at the entrance to Sunny Shores.
He's known to have a bit of a temper, and will lose his head from time to time.
