The District of Sooke is seeking feedback on next year's municipal budget.
 
Sooke residents can participate in an online survey to provide their input.
 
The survey is available until 20 Aug 2023 at letsTalk.sooke.ca/budget.
 
Two survey options are available, a short form (1-2 minutes), and a long form (15 minutes).
 
Raechel Gray, the interim chief administrative officer, emphasizes the importance of individual voices and encourages participation.
 
"Your voice matters. We're listening and want to hear from you," she said.
 
To further engage residents, staff and council members will be at local markets and community pop-ups in parks to discuss the budget.
 
Residents who lack computer access or prefer alternative participation methods can call 250-642-1634 to complete the survey by phone, or obtain a print copy.
