Jagmeet Singh Will Address Back-to-School Costs in Sooke Visit

Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will visit Sooke and Esquimalt on Thursday to hear about the looming back-to-school costs and pressure on family budgets due to the cost-of-living crisis.
Singh will be joined by MP Randall Garrison, and Mayor Maja Tait, the NDP candidate nominee for the Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke riding.
The trio will speak to reporters about what they heard and the NDP push for relief for families.
Later, Singh, Garrison, and Tait will visit the Esquimalt Family Military Resource Centre and the farmer's market.
In the evening, in Esquimalt, Singh will attend the NDP Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke nomination meeting to nominate Tait.
