Steam Train in Kootenays
The CP spirit of 150 Rail tour has begun.
The tour, which will be hitting 33 communities as part of the year long BC150 celebration began in Sparwood and Fernie, and as Mike
Lovecchio spokesperson for Canadian Pacific Railway explains it will hit the Creston Valley today.
Lovecchio adds the free of charge event will include a full entertainment line up which includes a stage band, actors, as well as a
museum car that has been specially prepared by the Royal BC museum that will feature a major exhibition called "Free Spirit,
Stories of You Me and BC".
The tour will come through Creston Friday at 4:30, and on Saturday at 1:30 in Castlegar, and 7 in Nelson.
