In 1930 CPR built a 32 x 10 feet Standard Portable Station (CPR Plan H-14-38A) in Mossleigh at milepost 48.2 of the Lomond Subdivision. Sometime after 1932 that station was removed and a section man's bunkhouse, 27 x 10 feet built in 1930 (CPR Plan H-15-18A), was placed there for use as the second Mossleigh station. It was probably used as such until passenger service on the line was discontinued in 1957.
