Aspen Crossing Railway's Polar Express train ready for its 28 Nov 2015 inaugural run. The train is led by PHLX 8454, a Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW) model S3 built for Canadian National in 1952. It was then sold to Manitoba Paper in 1963, then to Pine Falls Paper, then to Railside Locomotive Services (RLS). RLS leased it to the Prairie Dog Central until 2005 when Parrish & Heimbecker acquired it. PHLX 8454 arrived at Aspen Crossing by truck on 29 Apr 2015. PHLX 8454 poses with ex-Ontario Northland power car 206, coaches Milo, Farrow, Queenstown, and Lomond at Mossleigh - 26 Oct 2015 Cor van Steenis.
