This business car was built in 1887 for the Southern Pacific as Official Car number 27 and named "San Mateo". It was
acquired by Canadian National and renumbered 64. In 1962 it apparently carried Prime Minister John Diefenbaker during his failed campaign tour. CN moved
it to the Great Slave Lake Railway, named it "Cowley", and used it as a superintendent's car. In 1974 it was purchased by the Colonist Car
Society of Edmonton. Somehow it later became the Sidetrack Cafe in Edmonton. It arrived at Aspen Crossing in 2006 - 3 Nov 2015 Cor van Steenis.
