New Westminster British Columbia - NRHS BC Chapter's collection was recently sold to the Heber Valley Railroad in Heber City, Utah.
As I write this that collection of heritage coaches has started to move South.
Prior to this, another transaction took place that saw three coaches in the collection go to Canadian Pacific (CP).
These coaches were unfortunately not worthy of being maintained and thus will be used to supply valuable parts to augment the current fleet of CP's heritage business cars.
Primarily the trucks, braking components, couplers, and draft gear parts, and the like.
For several years now two of the cars had been in storage on one of the warehouse leads over at Mayfair, which is just off the CP Westminster Sub at milepost 2.5.
They being ex-CP Coach 1387 (covered in tarps), ex-NAR RPO 1453 (NRHS 3570).
The third car, Ex-CP Sleeping car "Riverton", was over at the New Westminster warehouse site where the main collection was housed for some 35 years.
