This Notman photo of 1884 shows few cars in the Winnipeg freight yard since the line through Ontario was unfinished. By 1903 there were more cars, and by 1925 the yard was full of grain, cattle, and freight cars - 1884 William McFarlane Notman - McCord Museum VIEW-1426.1
