Reflect on This
All new CPR vehicles are being outfitted with reflective logos
and striping before they go into active service. There are two different identification kits, one for light
vehicles and another for commercial vehicles.
The program supports consistent corporate identity and enhances basic safety by increasing the visibility of
vehicles in nighttime operations.
The kits may be obtained for application to existing vehicles. Notes users pleas refer to the Notes
database/Vehicle Docs on NPAPPS02, Category/Specs-Graphics, Sub-category/Vehicle Identification Kit.
For Merlin users, a fax or hardcopy of the specifications and recommended practices can be obtained by contacting
Jerry Olijnyk Vehicle administrator.
On January 24, 1883, with the railway only half constructed across the vast
expanses of the Canadian West, the Canadian Pacific Railway was listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It was the
first listing on the NYSE of any company outside the United States. On October 3, 2001, the first official day of
public trading, a new, independent CPR re-emerges on the NYSE.
