20 June 2005 CPR Laggan Sub Washout The track around Cochrane has been washed out, as has mile 39.0, and mile 42.4, with the tracks being suspended above. I have heard that detours are running via CNR Jasper, and the Crowsnest to Golden. As of last night there were tandem trucks with pups bringing large fill rock into the west end of Cochrane siding, where a front end loader was loading air dumps. It's expected the line will reopen in 48 hours.
