Outcome of Premiers' Meeting Predictable
Pray the rain holds off.
It would be terrible for Canada's premiers to miss out on the mutton-busting and bronc-riding rodeo
extravaganza planned for Kananaskis Country.
Not sure if prairie oysters are on the menu, but they should be.
The P.E.I. delegation could no doubt make short work of a table full of Malpeques, but how would they do with a
half-dozen breaded and butterflyed bull testes?
Regional cuisine - get it in ya.
Wednesday's the day Ralph Klein puts on a show for his colleagues from across Canada.
The premiers and entourages will climb aboard a CP Rail train in downtown Calgary for a trip west, first stopping in
K-Country for lunch and the previously mentioned rodeo.
On to Banff, where the townies will be out in force putting on an old-style fair.
Each leader will step into a classic car for a parade to the Fairmont Banff Springs, the official conference site.
