Counterfeit Check Alert
Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) has been advised of a number of counterfeit CPR checks being issued
in the United States. One scheme involves CPR checks being used in a lottery scam, whereby the recipient is asked to reimburse the
sender for a set amount and in return becomes entitled to cash the CPR check which is for a greater amount.
If you are suspicious or uncertain about the validity of any unorthodox, lottery or "too-good-to-be-true" offer
involving such checks bearing CPR name or logo please contact Canadian Pacific Railway Police at the following number:
