A CN freight train has derailed in the LaSalle region of Montreal.
The train was travelling from Montreal to the South Shore when the accident occured.
The cars were not carrying any passengers. It was the last six cars of the 93-car train that flipped over near the
Mercier Bridge early Friday afternoon, according to Michel Spenard of CN. (Editor's note: Michel Spenard works for Canadian
Pacific.)
The wagons were empty, said Spenard.
