Man Dies in Rail Crossing Crash
Beresford - A 23-year-old man was killed and two other men were injured when
their car slammed into the side of a moving train at a rail crossing on a gravel road just north of this small, rural community
yesterday.
The crash happened sometime before 5 a.m. at the Canadian Pacific Railway crossing on Highway 329, a lightly travelled route between
Brandon and Souris.
Brandon RCMP received a call about the crash at 4:47 a.m., Cpl. Gary Bardal said yesterday.
