Derailment Investigation Suggests Bridge or Track
Lytton British Columbia - The Transportation Safety Board
said yesterday that early theories about the cause of Monday night's CP derailment in Lytton point to either the bridge or track. Twelve
cars from a coal train plunged off a railway bridge and into the Thompson River. No one was hurt, but there are concerns that coal
dumped into the river might affect the health of salmon or the rafting industry.
