Toronto Ontario - A 16-year-old boy is expected to
make a full recovery after he was hit by a freight train in the city's east end Sunday afternoon.
The boy was walking along the Canadian Pacific Railway train tracks near Victoria Park Ave. and Lawrence Ave. E. when the train hit him,
Toronto police said.
He was taken to Sunnybrook hospital but police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
"He's going to be sore for a while", Staff Sgt. William Lithgow said.
The boy's identity has not been released and police would not confirm what he was doing near the tracks.
