Ottawa Ontario - Canadian Pacific and its striking
maintenance workers have reached a tentative three-year contract settlement, the two sides announced Wednesday morning.
The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference - Maintenance of Way Employees Division, representing 3,200 maintenance of way workers, began
strike action 15 May 2007.
Workers could be back in their positions over the next few days, the release said.
The memorandum of settlement will be sent to the union membership for ratification over the next few days, it added.
Details of the tentative agreement will be released following ratification.
