Flag Flap Fixed
Banff Alberta - On 13 Jun 2007 the Rocky
Mountain Outlook newspaper reported that the Banff council had a hissy-fit over the state of the flag on Canadian Pacific
Railway's station in Banff.
Apparently they drafted a letter of complaint to the railway requesting they replace the worn out flag immediately.
CP responded they would have the prolem rectified in time for Canada Day, 1 Jul 2007.
The photo above shows CP's Royal Canadian Pacific train at Banff on 15 Jun 2007, two weeks before Canada Day. Look closely
on the right, that looks like a brand new flag flying proudly over Banff station.
