CPR to Implement 10East's Mobile Operating Platform Throughout the Signal Department
Canadian Pacific Railway recently contracted 10East Corp. to
provide its Railway Daily Operations Control System (RailDOCS) Mobile Business Platform to support the railroad's preventative
maintenance efforts and government compliance logistics in the signal department.
CPR agreed to a long-term contract to deploy the platform systemwide after conducting a RailDOCS pilot at its U.S.
properties during the past year. By year's end, 10East - a Software as a Service, Business Process Outsourcing firm - plans to complete
software changes to the platform to address variances between U.S. and Canadian government requirements.
A Web-based operating management system designed for freight railroads and transit agencies, RailDOCS offers tools to
manage business intelligence and processes, personnel, projects, and other tasks. The mobile platform features wireless devices used by
front-line workers to collect and disseminate information.
