Port Coquitlam British Columbia - The city of Port
Coquitlam, B.C., has awarded a $94.5-million contract to design and build an overpass bridge to a
Montreal-based engineering and construction firm, SNC-Lavalin Group Inc.
The half-kilometre-long bridge will pass over the CP Railway yards and link the north and south parts of Port Coquitlam,
with two lanes in each direction, a sidewalk, and two bicycle lanes.
SNC-Lavalin says the project is scheduled to begin at the end of this month and will be complete by January
