Aldersyde Subdivision Alberta - This happened on the
Aldersyde sub on 25 Feb 2008.
Apparently one guy was sleeping in the back of the pickup's cab when the accident occurred.
The pickup truck ran through the flashing red grade crossing warning lights striking the twenty-third car in the train
which was a tank car.
The tank car caught fire.
Somehow both occupants survived.
The extent of their injuries is not known.
