Woman Killed, Toddler Hurt
Oak Lake Manitoba - An Oak Lake area woman was killed
yesterday after the pickup truck she was driving collided with a Canadian Pacific Railway train at the town's Tower Road crossing.
The only passenger in the truck was a toddler, who was rushed to the Brandon Regional Health Centre.
"He seemed to be fine", said Const. Mark Hume of Virden RCMP at the scene yesterday.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m., with both Virden and Oak Lake emergency services attending.
