A Group Photo Story
The photographer neglected to name the location of this photo but
it looks like it was taken at Indictment Hole on Canadian Pacific's Thompson Subdivision. So-named because someone once
said: "The person who decided to build a railway here ought to be indicted."
A group of unidentified Vancouver railway photographers were out
and about taking some excellent photos of Canadian railway subjects recently in the Fraser and Thompson River Canyons of British
Columbia. Here's a synopsis from their web site:
For many years CP has pulled their Office Cars with "Vintage" Diesels on the point. For the first few years it was even an
A-B-A set. Not too long ago they acquired 2 more F units (CP4106 and 4107 both FP9s) as replacement for the previous 3
(CP1401 1400 and 1900). After some additional work to touch up 4107s paint, they made a trip to the coast of BC. Unfortunately the 3084
was leading both ways. Enjoy.
