Mock Exercise Wednesday Morning
Kenora Ontario - CP Rail will be holding a mock emergency
exercise Wednesday morning in conjunction with Kenora's Emergency Service Department.
Mike LoVecchio, CP Rail communications officer, explained the activity will be centred around the railway's south work yard along
Railway Street, and people should not be alarmed by activity there and the presence of emergency vehicles and personnel.
Numerous emergency vehicles will be parked in the area, he noted and training smoke may be used for simulation purposes.
As well, due to fire hydrant use, residential water may experience a temporary "rust" colour, in the area.
