Man Killed by Train in Sudbury
Sudbury Ontario - Police in Sudbury, Ont., are trying to
identify a man struck and killed by a train in the city.
He was hit at about 5 p.m., Thursday, on Canadian Pacific Railway property (near Morris Street and Marshall Lane).
The man had dark hair and was wearing black shorts, a black and white nylon zipped top, white and navy shoes, and white socks. This is
the second train incident in the past month involving pedestrians in Sudbury. Another man was hurt 2 Aug 2008.
Meanwhile, a man from Burlington, Ont., is in critical condition after he was struck by a train in Milton.
Police say the man, 44, was hit by a CN freight just before 4 p. m. Thursday and suffered "an
amputation".
