How much do you know?
As the holidays approach, the Ontario's 107 MPPs have scattered
to their ridings.
Politics is on the back-burner for a couple of weeks, so I asked reps to provide me with trivia questions from their
ridings.
Bob Runciman from Leeds Grenville asks: The longest railway tunnel in Canada is in what city?
Politician's Answer: The CPR Brockville Railway Tunnel was completed in 1860 and is 600 metres long.
Cordova Bay Station's Answer: The longest tunnel in Canada isn't located in any city. It is the the Mount Macdonald tunnel
located beneath Rogers Pass in British Columbia and it's the longest railway tunnel in both North and South America at 14.7
kilometres long.
