CP Holiday Train Visits Revelstoke
Clockwise from top left: The Revelstoke Fire Department
volunteered at the event, manning the concession and passing around collection boots. Here, Revelstoke Firefighter Sean
Creighton is joined by RCMP Cst. Tracy Longpre and Rory Luxmoore, who is making a $5 donation.
Revelstoke British Columbia - The CP Rail Holiday Train
rolled through Revelstoke on 15 Dec 2008 raising money for the Community Connections Food Bank.
CP Rail donated $4,000 to the cause, in addition to the $425 in cash, and 300 pounds of food donated by community members.
Santa emerged from a box car filled with stage smoke and put on a lively show.
Country Music Hall of Fame performer Tracey Brown, who recently released her second solo CD, Alone, followed Santa.
She was followed by 2008 Canadian Country Music Association Male artist of the year, Johnny Reid, who headlined the show.
The bonfire was probably the best idea of the evening with the temperature sitting at about -14 degrees Celsius, plus the wind chill
factor.
