McAdam Historical Restoration Commission to Host Fashion Show
Classic clothing: Brides from the Past at the McAdam Railway Station

McAdam New Brunswick - The McAdam Historical Restoration Commission is presenting Brides from
the Past in a fashion show of original dresses.
The bridal show will take place on 27 May 2010 at 7 p.m. The event will take place at the McAdam Railway Station.
Tickets, which are selling for $15 each, are available at the village office or by calling 784-2293 to reserve a ticket.
Light refreshments will be served following the fashion show.

Betty Lou Christie, Elsie Carroll, and Gail Swan are co-chairing the fundraiser for the commission that will feature wedding attire, mainly wedding dresses,
that have a history of their own. There are also bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses.
One of the dresses dates back to 1902 and is the oldest dress in the collection.
The lunch counter area of the station will feature a collection of bride dolls, Barbie bride dolls, and wedding attire too fragile to be worn.
A bride and groom that were married in the station last year will also be in attendance.
