Train Jumping Case Hits Delay
Chris Ball video flagged as inappropriate by YouTube viewers.
Cochrane Alberta - It appears Cochrane wannabe stuntman Chris Ball will wait until at least
September to enter a plea on his mischief charge stemming from a 17 May 2010 train-jumping incident.
Ball and his Calgary-based lawyer Patrick Fagan have reportedly sent a letter to the Crown prosecutor's office, but it had not been reviewed as of the
19-year-old's third scheduled court appearance 29 Jul 2010.
The matter had been held over on two separate occasions earlier in the month.
The case was advanced to 9 Sep 2010 at the request of a representative appearing on behalf of Fagan in the courtroom.
Ball, who hopes to earn a living in the entertainment industry, was charged 11 Jun 2010 after a he jumped from the Highway 22 overpass onto a moving Canadian
Pacific Railway train. A YouTube video of the incident currently has more than 26,000 views.
