Train Accident Claims Life of Local Teen

Parry Sound Ontario - Police have confirmed the identity of the victim who died following a collision involving a train Tuesday afternoon.
 
Cameron Penfold, 18, of Pointe au Baril, succumbed to his injuries at the West Parry Sound Health Centre after his vehicle collided with a CP train on a CN railway line on Cascade Street.
 
Firefighters, police, and ambulance were on scene and Church, Cascade and Isabella Streets were closed as the train sat idle and an investigation took place.
 
Roads were reopened to traffic just before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
