CPR Tracks Must Go

Regina Saskatchewan - It would appear, from recent pronouncements on downtown redevelopment, that plans call for the CPR mainline tracks to remain in place.
 
It is these tracks that prevent any effective connection between the present downtown and "the other side of the tracks".
 
As well, name one place that has desirable urban development, residential or commercial, beside railway tracks?
 
They have to go.
