CPR Hiring in Moose Jaw
Moose Jaw Saskatchewan - Choo-choo choosing a career in train operations is a bit easier at the moment.
On Wednesday, Canadian Pacific Railway spokesman Kevin Hrysak told the Times-Herald the railway company is hiring 90 new positions for Moose Jaw operations.
In February and March, the company filled about 50 of those positions and is currently seeking applications for the other 40.
"So it's quite a bit of employment in that area," Hrysak said, adding the majority of the 1,500 positions for which CPR is hiring across Canada are
in operations, largely in preparation for retirements and other current employees finding different careers within the organization.
"We recognize the need for succession planning."
