Investigators Unsure Which Train Hit Man
Brandon Manitoba - A 24-year-old man was found dead on the tracks in Brandon last night, but police are still working to figure out
when he died.
A Canadian Pacific Railway crew spotted the man's body at about 9:15 p.m. on Monday, just east of the First Street Bridge, on the CPR main line.
The crew, on a westbound train, said that the man was obviously dead, and believed he had been hit by a train.
However police say that their particular train was probably not responsible for the man's death. They are still working to figure out what train may have hit
the man, when it happened, and which direction of travel it was heading in.
The Brandon Police Service, Canadian Pacific police, and Canadian Pacific Railway are continuing to investigate.
