Bridge Work Underway

Peterborough Ontario - A large crane was used to position a piece of the pedestrian bridge along the Canadian Pacific Railway line behind No Frills on George Street on Tuesday.
 
The bridge has been closed to foot traffic since November 2011 after it was deemed unsafe.
 
Work will continue for the remainder of the week as construction crews install the pedestrian bridge.
 
It is expected the walkway will be open to the public in about a month.
