First Issue of Canadian Pacific Magazine
Calgary Alberta - The first issue of Canadian Pacific Magazine is intended to lay out CEO Hunter Harrison's plan for our future and
remind us of our proud legacy. That was one of our goals when we said goodbye to the previous employee publication, Momentum. With new leadership, a new
operating plan, and a new philosophy, it only makes sense to take a fresh look at how we report on the story you're helping write when you go to work every
day.
In this issue, you'll find various articles explaining and reflecting on our operation in a personalized way that represents the regions where you live and
work.
You'll find different types of stories, interviews, and photos that were developed to show CP's progress through the perspectives of the people who make it
happen on a daily basis.
Whether an engineer from Portage, Wisconsin, USA, talks about how his hobby raises money for the local food bank, or a 10-tonne hi-rail driver from Elkhorn,
Manitoba talks about championship spike driving, we're telling CP's story through your eyes, from the track up. It's about your work to keep the tracks and
equipment in good shape, the trains running on time, and the yards processing cars like a well-oiled machine. Those efforts, your efforts, are enabling us to
build an efficient operation, improve our service, and fuel growth.
Canadian Pacific Magazine will be published twice yearly with a digital version available in both French and English. So when you take a break or finish a
shift, flip through Canadian Pacific Magazine and see what you think. And, if you have an idea or feedback, let me know.
