Heavy Rains Erode Railway Track
North of Creston

Wynndel British Columbia - Exceptionally heavy rains have caused the partial closure of Highway 3A near Sirdar and undermined the railway track at Wynndel.
 
Repair crews are already on the scene in Wynndel, scrambling to replace the railway bed with rock and boulders in an effort to stabilize the tracks.
 
No information has been made available about how long the track could be closed to train traffic.
