Calgary Alberta - A semi-truck driver who parked his rig too close to train tracks was clipped by an oncoming train, smashing his trailer and spilling its cargo.
 
Police say a passing eastbound Canadian Pacific train collided with the trailer in the westbound lane railway crossing on Glenmore train just east of Ogden Road Friday shortly after 1 p.m.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
Traffic was tied up as police closed westbound Glemore Trail and Ogden Road and 69 Street.
 
The crossing is equipped with signage, lights, bells, and gates.
 
All were functioning as intended with the approaching train, according to CP.
