Pedestrian Struck by Train in Yorkton with Alcohol a Factor
Yorkton Saskatchewan - A man struck by a train while walking in downtown Yorkton Saturday morning did not sustain life threatening
injuries, according to RCMP.
The collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. at the railway crossing on Broadway Street West near Laurier Avenue.
A man was hit after walking in front of a train.
He was transported to Yorkton Regional Hospital then later moved to a hospital in Saskatoon with non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol was a factor, RCMP said.
