Dog Suffers Bout of Gephyrophobia
Prince Albert Saskatchewan - Suffering a bout of gephyrophobia (a fear of crossing bridges), Baby Girl the dog found herself stuck on
the railway bridge over the North Saskatchewan River on Tuesday.
The Prince Albert Fire Department learned that the dog joined her owner in crossing the bridge but at the halfway mark Baby Girl became frightened and refused
to move.
Once the fire crew got Baby Girl off the tracks she appeared happy to have been back on solid ground, the fire department reported on their Facebook
page.
This incident serves as a reminder for people to stay off the railway bridge as it is extremely dangerous.
The Diefenbaker bridge about 100 yards to the east has two pedestrian walkways.
