Train Crashes Into Loader on Tracks Near Innisfail
Innisfail Alberta - A 44-year-old man was airlifted by STARS to hospital in Calgary after the loader he was using was hit by a Canadian
Pacific Rail train north of Innisfail.
RCMP responded to the crash on the rail line at Township Road 362 at about 6:10 a.m. Tuesday and say the southbound train hit the loader that was working on
the rail construction site.
EMS removed the unconscious operator of the loader and he was transported by air ambulance to Foothills Hospital with indeterminate injuries.
Police say the crash is under investigation and no charges have been laid.
