CP Raises Speed Limit

Minneapolis Minnesota USA - Canadian Pacific is raising the speed limit for its trains that run between Glenwood, Minnesota, and the North Dakota
border.
The change takes effect at the end of the month.
CP says the speed limit will go from 49 mph to 60 mph as a result of upgrades in signal technology.
The railroad says the change meets higher federal standards for track speeds.
