Toronto Ontario - A 16-year-old boy is in hospital in life threatening condition after being struck by a train overnight in midtown Toronto.
 
Police say the teen was walking with friends along the tracks at around 03:00 near Mount Pleasant Road and Roxborough Drive when he was struck by a freight train.
 
Paramedics say the teen suffered a head injury and was rushed to hospital.
 
There is no word on whether alcohol was a factor.
