Islay Alterta - Several rail cars are off the tracks after a collision involving a train and a vehicle in east-central Alberta.
 
The province says in a release that the accident happened at a crossing on Highway 893 on the western edge of the small community of Islay, east of Edmonton.
 
There is no immediate word on injuries.
 
The cars are blocking traffic and Highway 893 is closed between Highway 16 and Township Road 512.
