Calgary Alberta - Canadian Pacific Railway 4-4-0 Standard number 29 is to be moved from downtown Calgary to CP headquarters at Ogden where it will receive a cosmetic restoration.
 
A track is to be constructed beneath the elevated walkway system above 9th Avenue.
 
A crane will be used to lift it onto the track, roll it under the walkway, then lift it again onto a flatbed trailer.
 
A truck will then pull the trailer the wrong way along one-way 9th Avenue to the nearest parking lot.
 
From the parking lot the crane will once more lift the locomotive onto CP's main line for transport to Ogden.
 
The big move is expected to commence at 22:00, 10 Jun 2017.
 
Sounds like an entertaining evening... please stay out of the way !
