Calgary Alberta - Everyone is invited to attend the Company's annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the Ogden Memorial.
Canadian Pacific (CP) continues to pay tribute to the more than 33,000 CP employees who served in the last century's two world wars.
This tradition of service continues, with Canadian and American employees currently listed as reservists.
These brave men and women will be honoured at CP's Remembrance and Veterans Day ceremony on Saturday, 11 Nov 2017 starting at 10:40 MT.
The ceremony is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
The location for the ceremony will be at CP's Memorial Square, which was built in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World
War.
CP Memorial Square is located adjacent to the top parking lot by the 69th Avenue Southeast and Ogden Dale Road Southeast entrance.
CP is honoured to welcome members of the Lord Strathcona's Horse Royal Canadians, PPCLI Cadet Corps, NLCC Captain Jackson Cadet Corps, 88 Lynx Squadron,
British Army Training Unit Suffield, Corps of Commissionaires, Calgary Military Museum, Canadian Pacific Police Service, MP Tom Kmiec, MLA Joe Ceci, Ward 9
City Councillor Gian-Carlo Carra, representatives of the Millican-Ogden Community Association, CP employees, CP pensioners, and the general
public.
After the ceremony, light refreshments will be served at the Royal Canadian Pacific Pavilion located at CP's Head Office Campus.
In Canada, CP moves Canadian Forces' equipment and is one of Canada's most supportive employers of primary Reserve Force personnel.
In the United States, CP is a proud partner of the US Army PaYS program, which recruits soldiers interested in obtaining a quality civilian job following
service to their country.
