Vancouver British Columbia - An egg-citing adventure is in store for passengers on the Stanley Park Easter Train!
Operated by the Vancouver Park Board, the Easter Train runs 22-25 Mar 2018 and 29 Mar 2018 to 2 Apr 2018, 10:00 to 17:00.
As in previous years, the Easter bunny will be in attendance.
New this year is the Bunny Burrow Maze, which is included in the cost of admission.
"The Easter Train has been delighting children and families since 2011.
Last year, 16,000 people went for a ride over the course of seven days and we expect another successful year," said Vancouver Park Board Chair Stuart
Mackinnon.
Variety of Activities
Other activities at the train plaza include an Easter egg hunt, carnival games, inflatable bouncers, and face painting at an additional charge.
Food will be sold on site at the Cob House, Bunny Hop Cafe, Cloud Nine Cotton Candy, The Praguery, and Insomniac's Coffee.
An ATM and first aid service will also be located on site, which is wheelchair accessible.
A preview with the train only runs March 17 and 18 Mar 2018, 10:00 to 17:00.
The train includes a replica of Canadian Pacific Railway Engine number 374, which is famous for pulling Canada's first transcontinental passenger train into
Vancouver in the late 1880s.
It operates as a seasonal attraction and features various themes throughout the year, including Ghost Train in October and Bright Nights in
December.
It is one of Vancouver's most popular family attractions, carrying more than 214,000 passengers per year.
The train is covered on rainy days.
