Vernon CP conductor Laid to Rest

Vernon British Columbia - A Canadian Pacific (CP) conductor killed in an industrial accident at the company's rail yard in Calgary 19 Nov 2018 will be laid to rest in Vernon today.
 
Tony Nenasheff, 58, moved to Canada from Sydney, Australia, in 1976, originally settling in Vernon with his family.
 
He worked for CP for 17 years.
 
Transport Canada and Employment and Social Development are conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances of the workplace accident.
 
Tony is survived by one son, 14-year-old Nathan Nenasheff of Calgary, his father and step-mother Nicolai and Nina Nenasheff of Vernon, and numerous family from Vernon, Calgary, and Australia.
 
The funeral service will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel at 10:00 with interment following at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
