Calgary Alberta - At CP's Annual General Meeting last month, Ken Brown, President of the Calgary Chapter of the CP Pensioner's Association, let the meeting know that the CP Pensioners are doing well and advised that we are generally pleased with the way the company is running these days.
 
He went on to invite CP President Keith Creel to join the club for a lunch of smokies and perogies with apple pie and ice cream for dessert.
 
Mr. Creel respectfully declined, busy guy you know, but asked one of his Vice-Presidents, James Clements, to do something nice for the Pensioner's Club in the not too distant future.
 
The result was a wonderful buffet lunch for about 70 lucky Pensioners on 14 Jun 2019 seated in the Pavilion next to steam locomotive CP 2816 followed by the first public tour of the interior of the Selkirk dome car which was just finished the day before.
 
They have done a beautiful job, at least two bar areas, hidden big screen TVs, internet Wi-Fi on board, plush leather seating, stunning metal and woodwork as well as pleasant lighting everywhere.
 
I'm sure we'll see plenty of trackside photos in the future but I've attached some pictures of the interior for your viewing pleasure which you may want to pass on.
